I will take a look.Dont worry about age ,thats not a concern here.Check out Allan C.I think he might be 16 now.
Actually he\'s more in his twenties ;) But there\'s a pretty good French painter that\'s 17 I think, no sure though.
Don\'t forget Alberto Moreto Font, Modo, C\'tan Support Group, Aragorn\'s Mate, Wolf Fang, Calavera, Provoke_me, FrederickVonCarstein, Ipaintminis, and, *ahem* me. ;)

Wait a minute, I thought we were talking good painters. :p

On another note, I really hate this name. Anyone know how to change your name?

Whoops, sorry, I reposted with corrections....

I don\'t think any of us are \"good\" painters, with the possible exception of Alberto....We\'re comin\' along, though. :D

Frederick, go to \"Your Account\" on the main gallery page....there should be a note in your profile explaining how to change it. You do need a credit for it, however.

:bouncy:
Sonofa...

I can\'t afford a credit. lol

And you obviousy haven\'t seen any of your own work.

Thanks Jim, I\'ve got some more done I have done the lower mchanical leg part down to the foot plates I have tried something out on these plates but it doesn\'t look right so I will change it tomorrow. I have also done the other lower leg but have gone for standard skin tones as that is sculpted as a normal leg apart from a couple of implants. Lastly I have added some red gore very dilute washes around some of the implant areas to make the skin look a bit sore. I\'ll get another couple of shots up tomorrow evening by which time it should be mostly done (hopefully).

Oh, darn, I didn\'t catch the part about godlike status, I was just making a list of all the young painters I could think of for Griffo!

So that\'s why you were all so flattered! My mistake....lol :p

Griffo: Hi! I\'m glad you joined the forum. I\'ve always been impressed by the stuff you\'ve posted on http://www.thepalantir.org/
I \'m still amazed that you are only 14 yrs old and paint so well. I hope you post some more stuff here as well.

Damn TAB, she is looking really great. Like the frehand on the skull. You might want to weather it a little though, seems awefully bright.

Cheers,
Grumb

@TAB - that skull does look pretty clean. But is it worth it to weather it now... ruin that lovely freehand? The neat thing is that it actually looks like real bone, especially the top view. Reminds me of the skeletons in anatomy lab.

@Ghey Boy - is that a 25/30mm mini or =][= scale?

@provoke_me - Nice, I like him! The colour makes him look very... fiendish! Also I like his expression, for some reason. He deserves a better base though, in my opinion. I know it\'s too late to grind that one off safely but maybe mount him on a larger base and build putty up to hide the metal one? Maybe make it like lava or something?

OK, I think I\'m almost done my Emperor:

The NMM is starting to \"pop\" for me now, though to be honest I\'m not very happy with the shoulder pad (it\'s too dark). I like how the green gems turned out, the red ones less so. Some are way too tiny to do proper gem painting, also I have a hard time with red gems for some reason.

EDIT: Did you know that ermine robes like this were made from dozens of cute little ermines? Each if those black spots is a tail. Stupid royalty  And I feel guilty for owning two sable brushes...

Indeed I have weathered it my buddy had commented as such and i does look better and I did not screw up the freehand (my first attempt of this stuff and would have indeed killed me)...I am working on her base now (fingers crossed) trying something new

NSA you choose such good schemes the spots are great the mini is great, Tidico super skin, to me this is the place to be
:D
