I\'m going to be updating every day, considering World Expo is ridiculously soon and I need to touch up my entries (not to mention finish off a WW2 Russian Crewman). Here is my list of entries for Fantasy General and Historical General, revisions and suggestions are VERY welcome:

Child of Terra 54mm FANTASíA GENERAL
Black Templar 25mm FANTASíA GENERAL
The Snail and the Troll 25mm FANTASíA GENERAL
The Treachery of Dalmyr 25mm FANTASíA GENERAL
Gollum 25mm FANTASíA GENERAL
Wood Elf Herald 25mm FANTASíA GENERAL
WWII Russian Tank Crewman 1/36 HISTORIA GENERAL

I figured they could use some shmancy names.

The Treachery Of Dalmyr was inspired by a gaming table at GD.. based on events surrounding \"Duran\" (the nicknamed Harad fellow I have on page 3).

My entries are almost all in need of touching up and this Russian tank crewman requires a full paint job! Anyhow, on with the show..

A badly photographed overview. The red lettering is the model\'s title, the yellow what needs to be improved or fixed.

His blue pants are almost done.

His pants are coming along nicely. From what I can see the blending looks good. Look forward to the rest. :)

I\'d like to see a larger image of the miniature itself. Can your camera get any closer and still focus properly?

Also, the crop button in any photo-editing software is your friend! :D

I tried zooming in this time.

Anyhow, I\'ll take better pictures in better lighting later. The photo issue is really bothering me. Will crop as Mr Sterbenz suggests from a larger (focused) picture as well.

It\'s essentially a no-name brand that I had forgotten (until you JUST reminded me, literally) was my back-up bottle... :drunk:

@vikey - Haha just a ton of work on the Russian. I prefer painting models in this way (GD ends, I paint for a week, have it ready for World Expo). I\'m a little worried I wont find a backpack for the Templar :(

 painting looks amazing so far. the color blending is gorgeous. I\'m betting it looks a hell of a lot better in person than in the photos. It\'s really hard to tell the fine detail work you do with the model so far away. I know you tried a close up but there wasn\'t alot of light. Can you possibly try posting up another close up :D

btw, it looks WAY better than the image behind it.

Hey war, I can take some more close-ups after I finish the face and maybe some other bits later today.

Haha I appreciate the last comment but the original is on a whole other level!

Cheers!

I just discovered that my dad took the camera as he\'s in Scotland on business (will meet me in Luton on Wednesday) :( This means no more WIP photos but I will post the finished product of the Russian if all goes well sometime this week. I painted the base today and finished up the metals on him (not much, buckles and the like were all the metal on him!) as well as painted up a new backpack for the Templar. After I paint the Russian\'s shoes and attach him to the base, there will be no more work on any entry except maybe to touch up Dalamyr. :D
