Ughh, I hated this movie. Did anyone else think Tristan (Brad Pitt) was a self absorbed whiny bitch?

The vast majority of movies ever made are major league suckage - only about 10% are really worth the efforts spent on them -

I don\'t mind 300 from a graphic adaptation standpoint....

I can\'t really think of many films to fit into the worst films ever but I\'m very very easily pleased..I watch a film I switch off I don\'t worry about historical realism I don\'t mind the odd glitchy special effect hell I can even overlook the odd plot flaw...I guess the whole letting myself switch off and join in the film is why films like Blair witch and Texas chainsaw massacre wolf creek et al scare the shit out of me...

films like Gladiator and braveheart are lifted for me by great soundtracks... The films no strong opinion either way...

however I hate dissappointment and overhyped films generally deliver..so..
The Hulk....You are so right there vike.
fantasic 4 2
Eragon.
AI
AVP (even though I own and watch it regularly it is still so dissappointing)

And the new star wars films well pesonally I love them.. I always have a little laugh to myself when people slag them especially special effects...the effects are fantastic ..yes maybe overdone but still cutting edge...They are the new films not the originals

Movies that suck come and go. Whether films like Gladiator are historically accurate or not, I really couldn\'t care - I\'m no more a historian now than I was before. Titanic held my attention, as did Troy.

Here are those that did not hold my attention, those that were not worth the effort of staring at a screen in a half-coma;

AI For a fleeting moment, actually had potential. The potential faded into mind-numbing boredom. Then it had potential again, but when the long road into a movie-induced spleen haemorrage was about to be repeated, the mind realised the need for self-preservation and forced the hand to retrieve the remote that fell from limp fingers.

Scary Movie Humiliating. A lone mosquito graced me with its presence and I felt I had to apologise to it for the awful shite that had inadvertently flickered onto the screen in my absence. Had it been allowed to continue, the carpet would\'ve rolled itself into a ball, looking for a crack between the floorboards. I watched all in amusement, until my very own, ever-loving testicles threatened to leave if I didn\'t do something about the embarassment that was gushing from the screen into the lounge.

A well.. the worst movies for me I guess are those that are overly hyped and then doesn\'t live up to it by a miel. I mean movies like fantastic 4... you know it\'s going to be bad and yeah it was pretty awful. Same with \"Scary Movie\" or \"Epic Movie\".. they are also terrible but again I didn\'t expect more.

Battlefield earth... hm lol I mean it\'s a classic! I got to read the novel sometime. Sorry but I can\'t believe that it can be any good if it has the same story.

300 is definately one of the movies I\'ve seen in recent years that didn\'t deliver. It was pretty much just a very ridiculous movie and had me lol\'ing instead of in .

@Nick232: \"The Emperors new Groove\"?? I mean talk about a step up from previous Disney years. I actually found that one pretty funny.

can\'t agree on those other two either.

The newest Star Wars films. Episodes 1-3.

Pure junk. Bad acting... bad storyline.. crappy special effects as well. Even Samuel Jackson couldnt save that garbage.

Well, hello, they\'re Star Wars movies. It\'s pretty much a given - Bad acting and bad haircuts go hand in hand!

You can pry Jar Jar Binks from my cold dead fingers - Return of the Jedi is far and away the WORST of the Star Wars movies. I could give you a list as to why RotJ sucks. The second trilogy - though flawed - runs circles around Episode 6.

Sky Captain and the world of Tomorrow. Please, if your going to shot a movie with nothing but green screens and 3d, please get the camera angles on the models right.

Antz. To me it was a cheap knockoff of \"Bugs Life\" \'Hey Pixar just made a boat lot of money on X, so let\'s copy the idea, get some known actors to do the voices, and fall on our collective faces!\' It\'s about the STORY people!

As for 300, I liked it. The style of the movie worked for me, oh well. Titanic, Had to wait tell week 16 to see, and got my car keyed on both sides by some *&^*^ punk kids, not that bad of a movie, a little long, but ok. AI, could have done without the ending, aliens?!? wtf? As for Batman and Waterworld, I think that the spin offs at themeparks (live action, record dialoge, big explosions), in someway are better than the movies that spawned them :D

Oh come on! \"Holy rusted metal, Batman!\" All the gang members fighting with oversize glow sticks. Jim Cary as the Riddler! The bad puns of Mr. Gov a ntor, wait, sorry. Mr. Freeze.
I think that what people are saying is that it started good, and when down hill after the producers figgered that they where sitting on a gold mine. Then they stopped, looked around at the joke that they made themselves into, and reinvented themselves.

hey hey hey, I never said anything beyond Batman (the original one) was good. The first Batman was good!

The \"sequels\" were crap.

I think the second Batman film was far better than the first one. But, I think you need to be a Tim Burton fan to appreciate it! :D

I agree that Ben and Adam typically play the same silly role over and over, but I actually liked Adam in Punch Drunk Love and Spanglish. He needs to dump the grown up kid schtick.

Yeah bloody Spielberg ending on A.I. If the movie had ended there I\'d been a more then decent flick.

Ahem. actually I\'m the secret A.I. fan-foundation. It\'s all about the teddybear awww.. how can you hate a movie with such a cute character.

I never said she wasn\'t cute. She\'s quite the beauty in fact. She\'s about the only good thing in that movie. Well her and Ewen McGregor. I love him! But just not a fan of the movie.

WOW?

There is truly no accounting for taste. The range of worst to first is so mixed up and overlapping it amazes me. Oh well, as always, the CMON forum is a place confound an perplex.

If Gladiator is, in your opinion, the worst film ever, then I truly envy the life you\'ve lived.
