I agree OB\'s pic is a lot better but your still missing a nice clear front shot..
Nice work on the base and the dark gritty scheme works really well.
My only quarrel is that for a drunk he is holding his weapons in a very regimented manner...maybe a bit more slumping to the post and perhaps using the weapons to support himself?? overall nice work though ...keep improving.:beer:

Nice painting but the way you have edited the photo together is terrible (IMO), i cannot choose where to look first (and first impressions normally matter the most) or make any sort of order from it.

Love the shield though!

OB\'s lightened photo helps a bunch.

To be honest, I did not vote on it at all as I would have a hard time giving it a 5. The photo is very dark and blurry leaving me no details to vote on. And I know you are a much better painter than that, so I passed.

The base does not do that much for him either. It looks like he\'s standing on a block of stryrofoam in front of a tombstone.

And why is he peg-legged?

I\'m really not meaning to take a rip out of you, but the photo really needs to be redone.

@Airhead - The base makes far more sense in person.. Ya\' see, I cut up corkboard to look like planks, but it\'s not clearly visible here (as with many other parts of the mini ), and the tombstone is the back wall of the bar, which is why there\'s a hunting trophy.

@Matty and Dave - Thanks, I suppose I\'ll have a re-shoot (hopefully w/ lamps )

@Rob - I wish I had though of that while building this guy >< If I ever do another brawler, I\'ll leep that in mind!

ahh, that makes much more sense. Trophies are generally hung higher up on the wall, like pictures. I\'d think of making the back wall taller and then put the trophy higher up. But that would almost eliminate any playablity of the mini.

I\'ll chime in with another cheer for the gritty beaten look on this fine model -- and also for the request for better pictures. I think that this model deserves more than a 5.8 (current) but it really is hard to tell; even with OBs pic.
