OK - so I had an idea to do a 40k Nurgle champion...
I drew the idea from Typhus - who is named after Typhoid - a particularly nasty illness
Typhus is a big dude in Termi armour, whose main weapon is a manreaper scythe (Which may have a bolter or something attahed - I don\'t know) But he looks very cool (Apart from that stupid nurgling on his knee which I will file off if I ever get him)
I had an idea to make another champion based (And named) from another disease...
In fact probably the worst plague to every effect humankind - believed to have been responsible for over the half of human death around the round EVER... Malaria.
Malaria, as you know if a parasitic disease passed to humans via the mosquito, resulting in a variety of symtpoms including extreme fever and sweating, Jaundice, Vomiting and ultimately - death.
So I wanted to name this character Malarius. And I decided to model him around some of the same parameters...
Therefore I decided not to have him in bulky terminator armour, but give him a very thin jumppack (Which I have yet to refine the design) so that he could fly like a mossie, and to have him in very light armour...
Im considering whether to model him in normal power armour or if it might work with him in like Scout armour (Undecided)
For weapons I decided he needed to have some sort of long, thin blade like a mosquito\'s proboscis, so I\'m thinking some sort of \"power rapier\"...
And for ranged weapon, I decided the only thing that would work would be a needle pistol...
I didn\'t have any needle pistols in my bits box however, so I decided to construct one from a few different parts - what do you think? (Yes, I need to GS some gaps etc)
And what about the entire concept...?
