Lol - yes, I know, but I thought that I\'d left it too long without submission, so here is my rhino.

One thing that really stuck out to me is that you need to center the word Avante on the front.

Plus just wondering why the driver is red in a blue tank?

Both fluff issues here :p

@Matthew - the reason for the two tone is explained in the submission

@Gilvan - according to the Codex astartes (Which the Ultramarines are the strictest followers) Techmarines armour is primarily red.

I was just about to reply to that part about the tech marine being red; but then I read the next post. :) I think there\'s a 2nd part to the scroll work; but it\'s in invisble ink. Pretty solid job though it\'s unfortunate the decals are very visible.

like it particuarly the exhaust stains, maybe a touch more hihlighting on the armour edges may help?

Hi, I like the idea if the two tone panels where it\'s been refitted, but if as you said they are codex grey, well there\'s too much blue in the photos as they\'re coming out kinda sky blue.
Off points for me are the decals, matt them down, and the off centred text on the scroll.
I also really dislike seeing red techs in blue tanks, they might as well wear a \"shoot me if your horny\" t shirt.- I know they\'re supposed to be red, but as far as I know it doesn\'t say any where that all SM tanks are crew by techs. Just cause just get the tech marine bits in the box doesn\'t mean you have to use them, for me it kinda spoils the realism you were aiming for with the replacement panels, but hey, this is 40K, so I\'ll shut up.lol
All in all, The APC looks good, but I\'d loose the crew man.

I gave it a 7 overall DaN. Some things I liked and some things I didn\'t like. I understand the idea behind the mismatched panels, but it doesn\'t really jive with armored vehicle design. Most tanks are a combination of casting and welding. There aren\'t really any panels to replace, but this is 40K after all. Second, when using decals you have a couple options to get rid of the \"silvering\" effect. First method: use a gloss varnish to coat the model, apply your decals and then coat again in gloss varnish. After it dries you can go over it again with a matt varnish. Second method: as above, but instead of using gloss varnish use Future floor finish.

Your weathering on the back door looks very nice; you may want to follow through with more of the same around the bottom of the tank and the treads. Nice smoke/exhaust weathering and paint wear as well. I also really like your tech marine. The rich reds make for a nice contrast with the vehicle\'s blues. He does stand out like a sore thumb, but then so do all space marine vehicles.

@Hubba - yeah I find sometimes my photos are either overly blue or overly yellow - getting the balance can be a bit of a struggle sometimes.
And yeah, the tech DOES stick out, but as I painted it primarily to be Ebayed, I thought I should stick to the fluff.

@Callhan - Cheers for the vote. I understand your point about armour, but I just liked the concept.

And as for the decals - I think this could be another lighting issue - they HAVE had the gloss/matt treatment and aren\'t that noticable to the human eye, but I can see them in the photos now theyv been pointed out - ah well - just one of them things.

Cheers for the comments about the soot and weathering - as that was the area I was trying out mainly with it.

I WAS going to try putting mud stuff on the tracks, but as it\'s gonna get eBayed I didn\'t wanna try it and muck it up :p

Nice use of weathering and damage. I think the front could use some more damage but what you\'ve done looks very good. Voted.
