My ex\'s auntie used to go out with Jimmy Paige. They used to have private sets in her bedroom.

At least that\'s what I thought I heard her say

If you could get a signature from Robert that would be fantastic :D If you REALLY could though, PM me. Zep is my all-time favourite band.

There will be no reunion until John Bonham can be returned from the
dead.
Anything else is just a revisiting of old material by the surviving artists.

Nobody can kick a bass pedal like he could.

But, yeah. Seeing Page/Plant would be awesome.

Yep.. RIP JB. But remember it\'s not just Page/Plant, it\'s also JPJ.

I saw Page and Plant on the Walking into Clarksdale tour some years ago, the album itself was not that good but the concert was all Zeppelin material and it was awesome. I would love to go to this but my guess is the tickets will sell out within minutes of going on sale. Especially as it is a one off.

Yeah, JPJ is there, too. I just always forget about him. :)

I still wonder if Plant ever kicks himself for saying \'no\' to doing the album that
Page did with Coverdale...

Coverdale/Page became such a huge hit
and Plant was asked to do it, first...

That is an awesome album I played it the other day. I bet it smarted on two fronts as Plant didn\'t like Coverdale anyhow he had accused him on more than one occasion of mimicking his mannerisms.
I think the best track on that Album for me was Over Now.

Despite Zeppilin being one of the best bands that my generation heard first time around I have to say that like the Stones hiking around doing Shows, it strikes me as \"Milking a Gulible\" market.

The Led Zeppilin name will attract a huge amount of revenue as has been pointed out simply for being who they are. Bringing Page and Plant together now after their long standing differences smacks to me that they or their management want to generate more cash.

Do new work together Magic, rehash old stuff simply to make money......Sounds like GW.

But Hey I\'m just being Cynical.

Good point, however saw THe Police last week and the gig was tremendous. They played better than when I saw them in the early eighties!

However if the Zeppelon gig goes ahaed I will try for tickets!

The Stones are certainly not just milking a gullible market. I went to see them last year and although it was pricey (well it wasn\'t, because my Dad bought the tickets! :) ) they were absolutely phenomenal. Just because they are getting rather old doesn\'t mean that they can\'t rock harder than just about everyone else around today, including all of the young pretenders.

Rather than looking like a bunch of old hacks trying to make a buck or two they were amped up masters putting all of their experience and knowledge of music into a set of absolute classics and playing as if it could be their last, which lets be honest, it could!

And yeah, I never saw them in their prime, but my Dad did, and he didn\'t seem any less enamored with how they perform now.

Page and Plant aren\'t the ones who\'ve argued so much in the past, though JPJ and has been neglected by Plant in the past.

As for the \"it\'s all about the money\" deal, I don\'t see what the point of that would be anyhow. I\'m sure these guys have enough money to last them the rest of their lives, I know that the three living members and even Jason Bonham have been active musically since Zeppelin broke up! And it isn\'t as if it isn\'t fun to enjoy a little nostalgia, ESPECIALLY with your old band.
