Celtic Chietfain

54 mm Pegaso miniatures - painted with oils, acrylics and enamels. It was my first historical mini, certainly won't be my last. Next on the list is a Briton warrior, by Pegaso as well... Excellent cast really (actually I had never seen so good before), very pleasant to paint. Well, your comments are most welcome !

very nice work ;) love the chosen colors esp. the green! what did you use for it? if i had to find something to criticize it'd be the helmet...it looks kind of dull compared to the rest! the feathers or whatever it is thats in the middle of the helmet (if its not supposed to be a metalpart of the helmet) should have gotten a other color like red...but he looks cool anyway ;)

Fantastic, really, the highlights are quite strong for a figure that large, but I think they make the figure go alive. Great metal too.

lovely and atmospheric, but the picture is very very dark, it;s not just the backdrop that makes it seem so. The beard could do with another highlight or two, in my opinion. The tassle on his helmet looks letallic, again, this could be the image, but it looks like you forgot to paint it.... Base is lovely, but only an 8 from me.
