The paint looks a bit "chalky". Neogenis is right about thinning paints. It really makes a big difference in the way thepaint looks. You want the consistancy of milk, that usually works. Nice first try though. Impressive.
not sure it ur mix of blue was an atempt at shading, but if it was good on you for a first attempt!! ppl cant say it enough, thing ur paints. take watter and thin ur paints like 50% and apply more than one layer. good job hitting the eyes, but breath more life into them by trying to highlight. collor choise wasnt the best for the eys, as red is a complenment to blue. try gree, cyril has an outstanding tutorial on here about shading the eyes. good job keep it up!!
