Thanks for the comments AlexG. I use a little known brand of paints so it may not be much help, but the base colour was true red, highlighted with mixes of true red to scarlet and edged with flame orange. The photo was not great and doesn't show the highlighting to it's full extent to be honest, there's also a bit of shine on the photo.
I'm just now reading that people feel red is a hard colour to work with, i like red tho :)
Really good job with the metal, it looks fantastic. What colour did you use to highlight the reds? If 'red is the new black' i need some highlighting inspiration as i always find my reds flat. The red armour here is sweet!
I was awfully tempted by this one when he was up. The chrome is fantastic and I would have liked to model from it.
But if I recall, it would have been overseas shipping, and I didn't know the seller was on CMON.
