The most constructive comment I can give you based on this picture is: use a MUCH darker shade for the darkest colour in his cape. Keep the highlight about as bright as it is. But make it go WAY darker in the shadows. If you think you're overdoing it, do it a little more... . Also, you might want to look up techniques for blending online. I notice you do have sort of visible seams between shades of highlight; the only way to know how to get around this is to find out from somewhere; so I recommend you look it up.
