Tau Battlesuit - Shas'O R'Myr Conversion

Converted and painted to the Patrol Painting Competition on the Relic forums. Fairly happy with the result, given the time taken (about 10 hours painting time). This was a first attempt at water effect, and I think it turned out ok, so overall, pleased with this piece.

Liked this one when I saw the finished product, and it's extremely well painted. I think the overall appearance is lacking a bit in shading and contrast, so the figure overall looks "flat" color-wise, even in depressions and overshadowed portions. I also think that the highlights, especially on the darker armor portions, could've been a bit more subtly transitioned. For all that, though, it's still excellently painted and the drone vapor trail is a nice idea.

The only thing that I don't like about it is that I didn't paint it. Apok for the win. P.S Dude you got mad skills tell me you don't have a day job too.

Wow very nice and original colour scheme, and the pose is so realistic and dramatic. Only small problem is the gas trail from the drone, it looks kind of fake, but that is the only problem
