The custom made base is designed to give a continuous stone pattern no matter how you combine them. I carved the stone pattern in plaster, made copies and added greenstuff plants for variation.
Nice bright colours, and I like the freehand around the hems, fits the sculpts and looks good. The rope on that one guy looks great. Wonderful job on the bases - in the group shot I had to look twice to see that they were two separate bases. The black and white feathers look a little weird to me.
Then you start mass producing them for profit. They are cool. The facial expression on that fellow makes him look like he needs a yellow puddle underneath.
