Midnight Marshes diorama
This was a diorama I made for UK GD 2005. Only got round to taking some good pics of it a couple of weeks ago when I was reparing some damage that it had endured in an unfortunate and rather comical coffe cup accident, hence there is visible damage on the pics, but that is fixed now :) The idea spawned from watching Jurassic Park, the scene where theyre going through the tall reeds, and raptors are closing in on all sides. I wanted to add my own twists to it, and I had wanted to make a swamp diorama for some time. Why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone eh? I also tried to make it look like a night time movie scene, with loads of shades of blue, and in this case, the fire and lasers also adding to the lighting effects. I think it came out rather well, I enjoyed making it, but I regrethvingto rush it a the deadline drew near. I am eager to see what you have to say about it!
