Kalonice Stormwind
This figure was my entry to Wyrd Miniature's Femme Fatale contest. I was very pleased that she was voted 2nd place in the Fantasy category! You can see the original entry here. The figure is from a line of miniatures produced for White Wolf's Exalted RPG. As of February 2006, Reaper no longer has the license to produce these figures. I tossed around the idea of posing her with a treasure chest or a monkey, but decided a bar brawl fit the fatale theme a little better. The broken dish was going to be just an overturned dish (made from Sculpey), but it broke apart while I was working on it, and I figured hey, that fits even better. I didn't realize how fine-featured and pretty the face of this figure was until I started painting it, but I'm sure there have been a few pretty girls involved in bar fights over the years. ;-> I've been trying to get away from using so many earth tones, and I'm really happy with how the turquoise turned out on this. I'm also happy with the stripes, and very pleased that I managed to get reflection dots on the eyes. I'd love to get some feedback on the dirty blonde hair, and the bottle, and anything else you might like to comment on.
