Flying Tyranid Hive Tyrant
Gold for Warhammer 40K Large Monster/Vehicle at Gamesday Atlanta 2006. Woohoo! The wings are scratch built, using tyranid parts, brass rod, a ton of green stuff, and tissue paper (yes, tissue paper) to give the top texture. Everything has been heavily converted (including the ripper, who took the "smiling" head from another ripper onto another with an extended body). The title of this piece is "Neener, Neener, Gulp."
