Mark Gibbon's based green of a Dark Templar officer (painted)

Here is a "little" conversion of the plastic GW Black Templars marine sprues. I resculpted most of the mini so it looks as close as possible to the great Mark Gibbon's sketch. I tried to give to the painted version a battle worn look, just like the templars of the old crusade's days The original concept can be seen on my post #123657 Comments welcome

Very nice. I might have stayed away from the blue highlights on the black armour, but that is just a personal choice. I love all the purity seals and the weathered look. Keep up the good work.

This is amazingly painted, and converted. BUT... This could be my little maniac-mind that tells me weird things... But since it is made from at sketch.. then you dont know the original colours that this guy was supposed to have. Therefore... If I were you, wich I am not, then i would have painted this in black/white/bone/brown colours. Just to make it look more like the sketch. It would make this beauty look like a piece of art. But nonetheless... This is still amazingly well. The fadings are not extreme, and the base is a bit boring... But if you plan to play with this guy, then you have my respect. :D - Frobenius
