Mira - 2nd Place CCIII Best Scenic Base

I built this base using Hirst Arts blocks and a few old miniatures (some old trumpeteers I had around). It was also the first time I got to experiment w/ a jeweller's saw (cool things for cutting miniatures up if you've never heard of one). They have very fine blades and this allowed me to cut the trumpeteers from their base as well as Mira from her slot so that she could be pinned onto a "stone" that would "plug" into the display base. She is completely removable for gaming.

Great Job! she reminds me of Ivy from soul caliber 2. and great idea to have her removable for gaming, that way you can play with your masterful creation and feel good looking when your hacking and slashing.

Lovely setting and the color choice is perfect on the mini. The grey hair on a lady with such perky busoms, tho', is really disconcerting. It doesn't seem white or grey, but is identical to how an old lady looks.

This is simply fantastic! The scene is dynamic and seems to be very lively... even for marble columns! A very creative base, brother. And, the figure is a very hard female face to make look good... because, IMHO... the sculpting on her face is poor. But... you made her look wonderful. Which is a testiment to your abilities...! Sweet little vignette!
