Ultramarine - Apothechary

I painted this model for a local painting contest, my plan was to get a very smooth and clean looking model with a lot of character and detail. The base is scratchbuild and then cast in a high quality plaster. I wanted the base to look like a semirusty deck inside a spaceship so that it would display a contrast to the "clean marine". Comments and suggestions are very welcome.

nice and clean paintjob. highlighting blue is in some places harsh though - the layers are too visible. try smoothening them out (a glaze with a midtone might help). also I think the eyes would look better if you choose more rich tone of green. but that doesn`t change the fact i like the model :)
