The Holy Champion

When I painted this model I decided to paint it in very bright and strong colours to give the impression that this model is from a cartoon. I also wanted the champion to raise his sword and greet the statue as a sign of respect so I had to make some simple conversions on the model to get the right pose. The base is build using Hirstart molds which can be found on this link: http://www.castlemolds.com/

Thanks for the comments. First of all, the reason that I have put so many similar pictures on the collage is because I had a lot of problems taking some good pictures of the model, so I decided to fill the collage with the stuff I had. I'm also satisfied with the shield and you are absolutly right about the cloak I should have done some better highlightning there.

I love the bright colours, which I think you handled very well. The shield in particular looks great. The top highlight lines on the cloak folds look a little stark. I also really love the scene as a whole, nicely executed!

Pretty nice work but why have you put in so many views whhich are virtual duplicates of others?
