LOTR Mordor Troll Chieftain
I put the sword arm high up (by default it's meant to be stretched out before the body) to make his pose more dynamic and meet his fierce aggressive character. After many smaller minis (elves) this larger and ugly guy was a pleasure to paint. The sculpt is wonderful and the scales of the armour are so nicely done that I painted them many times in various colours until I decided on this bronzed/copper/slightly oxyded scheme. The little orange looking stone on his base is a bit of some heavy ironcontaining/rusted rock, the other plants dried ones found in the forest and on dunes.
