Wolfen Prowler/Rodeur

I started out intending to use Rackham colours only, since I won them at the UK Open. They were great for the skintones of the doggie using different mixes of sharp grey, grey of darkness, black and white. Glazes of Kalienne yellow , soil of Avagdu and Rackham red were used to give a bit of lfe to the skin. So far, so good, but working on the rest just got me frustrated based on the sloppy coverage of the browns over grey primer, so I went back to the old faithful VMC paints.

Wow. On the Rackham forum you have a closeup of the face, which shows just how smooth the blending is, and how fine the detail on the eyes. It shows an amazing level of painting. I love how you've made the face the focal point of the piece, in an almost film noir way. Great work!
