Space marine theme test

So here's my latest mini. Again I painted this mini fast, all battle damages and freehands on shoulderpads are missing. As the name of the picture tells,this is a theme test. I hope that I get some comments of how the theme works and so on...

Wow the detail on the face is incredible. Thats a great job for a quick painted mini. I think the colour scheme works really well. Very nice contrast, I reckon the metal on the backpack is a little distracting though and seems to draw your attention away from the marine's face. The gun in red is a nice contrats, I wonder what it'd look like in black or even in the same bone as the shoulder trim or kneepad. Hope top see more of these cool mini's soon. Great work.

I like the theme very much, as much as the whole mini! I think, this kind of "nato"green is the most realistic colour for an army of 40k. I don't like those colourful themes at all. But that's my opinion! Great face, but i'm thinking bout the red for the weapon. As a contrast it's all right, but have you tried in black? Is it working then either? If you like, tell me the development via private message.
