Clean the model before painting it, even with a dak color like on this model you can see the flash and mould lines. A cleaner model makes easier painting. Cocktail stick banner poles - no no

DRAG you brush when highlighting, NEVER push it. Also, a tip for highlighting the very sharp corners--> use the paint from the SIDE of the brush (you'll have to re"dip" it more often but it helps)
