you are going in the right direction with the nmm, but next time thin the paint a bit. other than that its looking good. Keep up the good work!

Old Skool. You youngsters are spoiled. Back in the day we didn't have the internet, painting books, or any help at all. We used plastic fiber brushes, didn't thin our paints, and used spit as a standard painting tool. ROCK ON OLD SCHOOL ULTRAMARINE!

Apabror's right; before you jump in trying to do NMM, build up your basic skills and techniques first. Calypso's also right; Arjay is the KING of NMM...the guy can chrome-plate like there's no tomorrow! The axe is a worthy attempt, but you need to distort the image to follow the blade's curvatures (study some reflective objects) and set the horizon properly: IE, to the mini's base and not the blade itself.
