DARK ELVES - Malekith The Witch King Of Naggaroth

After a lot of bending and sculpting it´s finally done! I tried to make him look like the artwork of Malekith in the 5th edition Dark elves army book. I have sculpted the horns of the cold ones, the main part of the chariot, the banner poles and Malekiths hat with green stuff. I want to thank ThomasMuckus (http://www.coolminiornot.com/4059) for the inspiration and the idea of using the Karloth mini as Malekith. The banners is painted by hand and made of a soda cans. Comments are welcome and appreciated. I always try to return the favour.

It is great to see all this "old-style" dark elves in a so high painting-standart! the conversion is so cool, I love "artwork-inspired" miniatures and working on a darkelv scout (like the 5th edition artwork) myself, but it won't ever look as cool as your stuff! Keep up your great work

Well, it´s because it´s easier to play when you can remove one Cold one from the game if it´s killed. But i see your point. It would look better if I used a single base for the whole mini. Thanks you for your opinion and the comment btw. :)

oh well, I love this piece ! great painting, great conversion, great freehand on the banners. The only little critism, why have You not used a single base for the whole model ? But this is the only point, at all, a realy great job, more fitting to the old background of the darkelves than those new dragon-thing. I`m proud to give the inspiration for such a great work, You`ve done it very better than me, congrats
