Dragon

I'm pretty sure this was a Reaper model so that is where I have placed it...I painted it to use as a topper on our wedding cake and threw out the packaging in the ensueing pandemonium. If I have it wrong my apologies to the company that did produce it.

Rancor Pilot: Thanks for the head's up. I actually built a small castle with 2 pewter models to represent my husband and myself that the dragon sat beside. In the end I put it all on it's own base and used it as the top layer of the cake (with the rest of the layers being chocolate fudge brownies...yumm) so that nothing ended up sinking into the cake.

Wren: Thanks for the confirmation...now that you mentioned it I remembered that I found it ironic as I was painting the dragon gold that it was called a silver dragon. It actually took a pile of greenstuff to get the wings to look right so it is probably the model I guess.

Funnymouth: If I remember correctly the wing membranes (I suppose that's what they would be called) are GW shining gold as a base coat with a coat of red ink on top followed by 3-4 coats of yellow ink. I agree that it is more glossy than I would prefer. I had to coat the model in a few coats of varnish to make sure it withstood it's cake topper duties.
