After finishing my very first set of minis (archers) I made this one. The pattern on the cloak was done this way: first blue vallejo colour, shaded and highlighted with oil colours. Then I sealed everything with matt varnish and started painting red squares with vallejo. i had to overpaint them about five times. Shading and highlighting of red colour is done by vallejo again. (On small areas it was not so big problem for me, but on large areas - I had to use oil colours.) Then I slightly outlined the squares with very thinned black-blue vallejo. The rest was much easier, everything painted and shaded with vallejo or citadel, only final wash were oils again. What i doesn't like very much is brass colour of those horns. But..I still have a lot of other minis to practise :-) again, any comments highly appreciated as...I am still in the beginning of learning process :-) thank you :-)

I like the cloak and the horn!. the one thing I have complaints about is in the picture is looks like you can see where he was glued together on the head and arms it could just be the picture but otherwise GOOD JOB!
