Alan Marsh, leader of the 512th Alvarian "Dawn Breakers" regiment's Conservator squad. In other words, a stand-in for an Ogryn Bone'ead Sergeant. A very early conversion from a Reaper Warlord Duke Gerard figurine. All I really did to this guy was hack off his axe and replace it with a plasma pistol. Notwithstanding of the awful paint job.

Well, paintjob aside (which is tabletop quality to most people), I think the expression on his face is really funny. He looks like he's thinking, "Did I leave the iron on?" Anyway, it's a nice conversion but I don't think you should be using him as an ogryn stand in. He looks nothing like an ogryn and isn't even holding the correct weaponry. He looks much more like a marine vet.

I really like this figure. But you're right - the paint job is pretty bad :P lol At least it's fairly neat. Pratice and then strip this one - I reckon it has potential to look pretty good :)
