In a mini like this shading becomes everything. (Highlighting less so if you are using metalics.) A dark ink (a type of thin paint) can be used to darken the details and make them pop. You might also want to make an exception to the horn and the knee skull and make them more ivory. That also helps to make the mini pop. Last and not least is the base; there is dirt stuff and a rock. Making the rock somehow different from the dirt can make a big impression in a photo.
The top pic is hard to see but taking good pics is almost an art in itself. Your bronze is the right color but needs some shading and highiighting to get that "feel".
