This is the latest thing I have painted. I based him with static grass which was a first for me. His armor is done in shades of red, the highest highlights being on his shoulder "skeletons". His shoulder blades are done in rms emerald green metalics. His blade is done in a mixture of red hues done in a swirl, coming to a point in the center of the blade right before the spikes. Most of my previous photo's have been very bad color wise. I tried a lot with experimenting on where the light should be placed when photographing this guy (over 100 photo's so far) and I am still not satisfied.
