Bit of an echo of what Brother Tiberius said... don't be discouraged. It's okay to ask for help, and if your first instinct was to be proud of this mini, there's no reason to change that.
Definitely remember to thin your paints. Sometimes this means you'll have to apply another layer to get the color right, but it'll be worth the extra work.
I think you have a good eye for color, too... there's a nice mix of color going on to keep the eye interested in moving around the figure, so good job there!
Your best bets to improve right now are the already-mentioned thinning of the paint, but also think about using some inks to really bring out some more detail (like the shaft of the crozius... paint it brown, hit it with some brown ink or thin black ink, then drybrush a lighter brown ink over that).
Keep at it! You've got solid fundamentals already, now it's just a matter of practice to develop your finesse.
I don't know how long you have been painting, but this is at tabletop. I see a lot of good things here, that you wanted certain details to stand out like the grenades and purity seals. I'd have to say that your biggest problem right now is that you probably don't thin your paints enough, that you are going right out of the paint pot and onto the model thickly for coverage. I did that too when I first started. I think it's largely a practice issue. Just keep trying and don't be afraid to take that model, strip the paint off of it (I'm sure Cool Mini or Not Forums have about 1000 different suggested methods to strip paint off of a metal model) and give it another try. Painting is a question of quality and quantity. The more you do, the more you'll find what works for you, and your quality will improve. Don't be discouraged, but remember that everyone learns as they do. Good luck.
You, picked out all the details which is good, but its looks like just big spots of paint, i mean, there are no highlights on anything, and well first of all, black is really really hard to paint and make it look good, imo a lil drybrush with gray would help this mini a lot, some ink washes as well, from it thou i can see you got good pulse since only a lil spots on the armor are covered with other colors paint (right left with some gold from the chains, left knee with red from the tabard), so what you need is give it some drybrushes and it should improve a lot your grace, 2.9 is too low imo, 4.5 should be imo.
