Freya the Valkyrie

My second mini and first human figure. Since I wanted to enter the contest, time kept me from doing more work on her for this post, but I plan on doing more work on her and Grom.

thats sure as hell better than my first few minis, thats a really good start, over the years supposing youll carry on painting youll get a lot better, the paint does look very thick but its only your 2nd model i always just put my paint on a tile and add water, thinning paints can be very useful (i didnt at the stage your at mind) you can find a lot of good painting tips on the web, keep up the good work

Hey there! Excellent beginnings.. Something I have found for myself in the remedy of chunky paint - is - Model Master Acrylic Enamel Thinner.. put a drop or two into your paint troft and mix it up.. your paint will go on smoother.... also.. get a round paint palette (local art store has them) it has little trays all around it you can put paint it - use the drops of the stuff I mentioned above in these with the paint and bam! Insta chunk be gone.. not to mention it makes the paint flat to get rid of that unsightly shine. Keep up the good work and as Tinuviel said.. We were all beginners at some point!

Great start - you will be less rough around the edges with practice.
