Da Orange Krush
So the owner of my preferred gaming store and I were talking about Orks in 40k and how green just doesn’t do it for us. He had said he wanted to do something different, and I told him I was thinking of the same thing. We discussed ideas, and I mentioned that I wanted to something way different, like opposite end of the spectrum different. Our discussion of how plants grow differently in different environments led to how that would affect the fungally infected and created orks. Thus, Bahr Dukhal and the Zitruss Boyz were born, having resulted from a waaagh on a citrus-type agroworld, and leading to their developing orange skin rather than the traditional green. They are still orks of course, of course, and as such possess all the same unique qualities. They are just orange. Bahr Dukhal is a bastardization of the word portugal (not the country) which has its roots as the word for orange. See what I did there? Zitruss is an obvious one of course. The grots of this particular band are called grot-kwats. And props again to my LGS owner, as they have officially been dubbed "Da Orange Krush". Edit: I know the pic is small, but I hadn't originally planned on uploading them, but I figured WTH.
