Try the new washes, they will give you the shadows this techpriest lacks.
Or try again but look at different painting techniques, google and/or search forums for good ways to paint metal.
You should do more highlights and shadows.
Look at this. Its a 5.7 (thought it would be better, ...). It shows you some hints to get better.
