Okay, from what i can see, you've undercoated in white, this is cool if you want to spend time doing lots of shading and layers to get a smooth finish. Im going to guess that you're starting out. try a black undercoat and leave some of it showing through the deep recesses. This will provide you with lots of shading at the start.
Then, you will want to have a base layer, this will be darker than you're main coat, and it wil provide a mid tone for the model and a smoother transition between black and white.
I found that this kind of painting feels wierd at the start, cause you want to paint everything, but trust me, it gets easier. Also look on the GW tutorial site, heaps of stuff there
You're painting seems to be neat and you haven't washed out too much of the detail, so with some practice and a few more layers, you'll have some sweet lookin minis
