Imperial Guard Army (Cadian - Desert Camo)
This is a collage of models & units from my much beloved Imperial Guard army. I structured the army in an unusual way; the infantry squads have no heavy weapons, and the Sgts use Lasguns (to maximise the effectiveness of the Cadian Shock Troops special rules). These lasgun heavy infantry units are supported by command squads tooled for close support: 2 x flamers, 2 x veterans with close combat weapons. Some heavy weapon squads, 3 sentinels, a Leman Russ and a Demolisher round off the army: the concentration of parts (small arms fire from infantry; small, dedicated assault units; concentrated heavy weapons) makes this a very flexible army to play with, and a lot of fun!
