Tomb Queen Kahlida

Done this little beauty for my local GW store's display. Loved the sucuplutre as there is a lots of fine detail. such as the 13 Scarabs. (Done in Mithril Silver with a wash of Midnight Blue to give the desired shiney effect) Was tempted to go with an NMM effect but time and ease dictated GW's metalics & ink washes. Having seen the Eavy Metal teams version I wanted to go a little different hence the all red cloak/skirt. May take a different approach on my own copy. As always comments appreciated.

I like the blues you used, is that a specific color or did you achieve this sort of turquoise by mixing other colors ? I don't understand the blue tint on the legs, but it looks like lightsourcing (of what ?) and if it were, it'd be absolutely brilliant ! Finally, the pic quality isn't all that great. I'd say it's a little too bright, did you point a lamp directly at it ?

Well, technically, I like the color choices, and the bandages are very good... The red could use a touch more highlighting maybe, and the pic is a bit "in your face" but she still looks cool!

A 7 because I like the scheme though I again shrunk it a little to appreciate what you've done. Only gripe is that the paint seems a little thick in places. Is there a problem on this one? Otherwise I like it.
