Imperial Guard Grunt

From an old IG army I'm trying to finish up. Paint job is is very bad, looking for suggestions on improving the painting while keeping same color scheme Black with grey highlights vest/helmet/boots Dark Blue with light blue icy blue pants

like he said, cleaning the flash will make it look better...thinning your paints with water will also improve the overall effect as well...overall pretty good for an imperial guardsman

For table top stuff that's more than adequate to my mind, although one thing you do need to do is clean off all the mould lines before you start painting. I'd say that while drybrushing is great for areas of heavy texture, you need to move into bending of at least layering for smoother areas. Other that, you could do with generally tightening up in terms of neatness of application. Having said all that, I think a squad of these guys must look pretty damn good on the table. :)
