Forgeworld CSM Nurgle Srocerer

Please excuse some of the pictures quality, these picture were taken in a bit of a hurry.. ..When i first saw this mini on the Forgeworld website i instantly fell in love with it, and decided there and then that i had to paint one for my personal collection. So a few months later and here it is, in all its Nurgley goodness. I decided that i was going to paint him in the Death Guard pre-heresy colours, but with a Nurgle essence of decay to it. So the pearl white of the armour has faded to a dirty yellowed bone colour and is streaked with filth and grime, and the metals have rusted and oxidised. I decided that for the skin, i was going to stray away from the typical style of Nurgle colouring, and instead went for the classic George A Romero 'Dawn of the Dead' style purple-blue style to try and help it stand out from the rest of the model. All in all, this was a wonderful model to paint and really gave me a chance to experiment and practise with a couple of techniques that I'm getting to grips with. Other than the picture quality the thing looks great. Not so sure about the dripping slime stuff. i have just bought 40 of the death guard upgrades doing and the same thing with the pre heresy colors but still dirty. Great colors, i like the skin. makes me like the model more than the one forgeworld painted. i usually doing my rotting skin tones with a touch of shadow grey into a flesh mix but i like yours better. Looks super!
