Daemonhunter Hierophant Henchman

This model was something of an experiment, as I assembled him out of random bits sitting around my desk, before I knew the rules from the Daemonhunters codex. The base model is Uriah Jacobson from the 40k line. Added bits include a missionary's standard, the arm from Cypher (as a power arm. He's gotta have some way of holding that huge sword), the sword from Abbadon, a lantern from the Inquisitor line, as well as a bolter thrown on his backpack in order to explain the large amounts of bullets draped around his neck! As well, the paper on the back of the box is painted with the words "Dead man in a box", just for kicks.

Don't listen to 'em. I love it. And someone else paid $81 for the privilege of owning it, so he must've loved it big time, too!

I hate to beat a dead horse but again I must point out that the conversion is what hurts this guy more than anything. That lantern especially seems out of place... even if it were the only thing to go I think it would've helped a lot. Nevertheless, a solid paintjob.

Hey folks. Thanks for the feedback. Clutter: I kinda view the henchmen the same way as missionaries, where they'd have all their possesions with them, as they don't have a set place to live. Paint: I know, I know, there're a lot of different colours. I figure that someone whose life goal is purging heretics doesn't wake up in the morning and worry about his looks. However, I do agree that on a balanced painting level, he's way out there. The sword: He actually began as an Inquisitor, and somewhere along the way ended up as a Hierophant. I just decided to keep him as he was.
