Daemonhunter

A Daemonhunter I'm currently working on painting for ebay. The book will actually be placed in behind the chains, closer to the body. It gives the model a much more balanced feel. The halberd is from (I think) an eldar model (I can't recall!), while the hammer and power fist are from the =I= Josef model, with a slight modification on the end using a mace head from a 40k chaos terminator. Body provided by Grey Knight Stern. Rock on base provided by bark mulch...

I don't know...it makes me imagine that he's just looking after the weapons for his much bigger friends while they're in the washroom.

Interesting idea, and fairly evocative to boot! My suggestions? I would convert the glaive (it's from the Inquisitor scale female Daemonhunter model, I believe) into a standard or flag draping over the back of the model. It's also got the right length for a banner pole if you swap the blade for a raised crossbar. The hammer is perfect, since it's probably one of the coolest bits of wargear available in the Daemonhunters codex. Just my two cents. Feel free to disregard.

Kilian, in the 40K worild you do not!! Bolters are two handed weapons characters often carry combi bolters and main power weapons. the knight looks off as the two weapons are too big. maybe one big and a smaller 2nd!??! the length of the glaive is way too long. he looks very busy with both and the gauntlet mounted storm bolter. G~
