Hyphen Trouble?
This is my Iron Painter 6 Round 1 entry, where the theme was "The Color Purple". Here's my description from the IP contest: How many purple-people-eaters could a purple-people eater eat if a purple people eater could eat purple people eaters? ----------------------------------------------------------- So since I got paired up against someone who is pretty experienced at this and my chances of making the next round are questionable, I decided to go all out. Literally the very first thing that came to mind when I thought the Color Purple (other than the movie) was the purple people eater song. I almost gave up on the idea until some friends pointed me in the right direction for figures to use. But, I thought, since I am going up against someone who has won one of these things, I have to do more than just a "purple people eater" and this is the result. On the one hand, you have a traditional one-eyed, one-horned, flying purple people eater, getting ready to eat it's victim. On the other you have a one-eyed, one-horned, flying, purple-people-eater eater. For those that don't get the joke (or don't watch American football), the Minnesota Vikings defense back in the late 60's and early 70's were called the Purple People Eaters and the team is still referred to by that nickname from time to time.
