That's a really nice conversion and the dark red seems to me beeing much cooler then the "gw blood angels style".
Now my suggestion for the shoulderpad:
What do you think about painting the white parts of the shoulderpad dark red like the rest of the armour (cause the white part is too big and seperates the arm from the rest of the body) and changing the yellow into gold or white (cause yellow is nowhere else to be found on this cool mini). If you choose gold for the vertical yellow stripe, you can bring a little white into the soulderpad by giving the blood drop a little white oint as a reflection.
I'm still trying to think up a better heladry for the shoulder. I want something that will work better for the figure yet also fit well on the loincloth. Any ideas are appreciated.
