Ice Blue Metal Necron Destroyer

Red rods, custom scheme, custom arm as I ran out of arms (broken). > Primer black, Base boltgun metal, wash with asurman blue (twice if you want darker), drybrush chainmail, Skull white eyes and flayer areas that are red now, blood red washed eyes/flayer chamber (for glow effect), Dot/paint actual blood red on the eyes and flayer red raised places, Seal with Testors Dullcote, PVA glue custom red rod in place (thanks to Plastruct 3/32"!)

Yes, dullcote was also my goal to balance the wash coat. Went for the darker style. Similar to those that just paint it, but gives a muted metal instead. Being as I assume they wouldn't be shiny in the battlefield either.

Dullcoat really robs metallic paint of its luster, so unless that was what you where going for, I'd recommend a satin or even a gloss finish.
