Eldar Falcon

A few years ago a friend gave me his falcon to paint it, than he went out of the hobby and the tank never saw any colour. But now he is back, his Eldar need support and so I decided to airbrush it, It was my first attempt on a vehicle and I learned a few things that I can do better the next time, not everything worked out as well but I think It is ok for the first time. Please say what you think about it :)

You shaded it pretty well, but keep in mind that you don't always want to lighter a color by adding white. For example, the green. Instead of going into a whiter green, moving into a brighter green would have been a bit better in my opinion. IE dark angels green into goblin green or scorpion green. The brown metallic parts could use a highlighting color, like a silver or gold, to simulate light hitting it, or where weathering has worn away to bare metal. You might also want to pick out the edges of the black plates with some grey, for definition. I'd also recommend picking out that battle damage with the black/boltgunl wear effect and maybe a wash or two. The gems (what typically decorate eldar minis) are also left unpainted as well, which detracts from the overall feel of the mini. The base good as it is. Don't get me wrong, it's a good looking mini. And I'm sure it's way better of a job than I could have done. But it could be improved.
