Yi Ling, Cathayan warrior from Guild of Harmony
Here's another one of the new figures from the Guild of Harmony range, that I sculpted earlier this year, and painted this week. This mini was strongly inspired by the film 'house of flying daggers' (although my friend Steve tells me its Chinese name actually translates as 'ambush from every direction' haha), and when painting, I wanted to make some sort of scene similar to the film, when the women are wearing the green robes amongst the bamboo forests. THe bamboo is made from wooden skewers, and I used milliput to make the 'ridges' for the segments.
