Anakin_Vs_Obi Wan_Artbox_close ups

limited edition 500 copies. www.knightmodels.com My most difficult work ever. it was the most enjoyable nightmare i had ever done till now. i have learnt a lot and i have improve my skills with that mental development. I would like to comment for if anyone is interested in the problems and advantages that I was finding this magnificent painting kit, sculpted by Alfonso Gonzalo. without judging the outcome, I will tell you it was a real game that has taken me 3 weeks of intensive work. The approach of light reflex, environmental and volumetric me has been a real nightmare .. but I must say it is the scene with which I have evolved and learned more by far .. has been a painful pleasure to paint .. About the kit: a kit is complex but can be widely interpreted, it can scare you but I think q is a challenge of the most interesting that can be addressed in a scene in miniature. at least I have found it so. chromatic approach, that i will explain with a bit of time if there is interest on your part is super complex. Understand, assimilate and conceptualize all aspects mentally q affect each other, such as volumes, areas of hard shadows, reflections, colors of both figures, the differentiation between them and other materials has been a mental challenge indescribable and also the differenciation between the diferent mood that bothe characters shows in that moment of the film: evil touch against the purity of obi wan.. .. have improved in a month of working what it had not changed in years. I realized the shortcomings of my abstract painting and has been a dire that learning very hard but rewarding. i tried to do something more similar to an illustration, that achieve the light and mood efect that i was looking for. i hope that you like it. each figure is nearly 70mm miniature if you want closer views of the duel you can look the grain pof the brush and some crazy close ups here : http://www.spanish-team.com/foro/viewtopic.php?t=12057&start=0

No dejes nunca q esa cabeza mal organizada q tienes apague tu talento y tu capacidad creativa. Un abrazo Adrian
