de Profundis (from the depths)
This scene is created around the 1/6 scale kit Kibakorou sculpted by the master Takayuki Takeya produced by Fewture models in the 90s. I'm not sure what the back story for the kit was, but in creating the base for it, I came up w/ the story of an archangel (think old testament archangel) has gone into Hell to kill some demon and upon his successful return from the depths, an angel greets him. I tried to stress contrasts in this piece ... Dark and Light on the wings of the characters ... Fire and Ice on the base. It is my holy grail of holy grail kits and I was so lucky to find one 5 years ago and have been holding onto it until I felt ready. I hope you like it. jim
