Lamia

This is a Lamia from TSR. A discontinued mini (Or so I thought). :) It's prime with GW Smelly Primer. I used GW Dwarf Flesh to base the human portion. This is watered down to 2:1. Then its ink with Flesh Wash watered down to 5:1 and layered at least 4 times. Then highlight with Dwarf Flesh and Bronzed Flesh with a final highlight of Elf Flesh. The Eyes are painted Green (using Hawk Turquoise) and before it dries, Scorpion Green is used to produce the catchlight. The lips are based with Scab Red followed by Red Ink and using watered down Skull White to produce the light at the lower lips. Getting too long? Ok, briefly. For animal portion, I used Bestial Brown (mid tone), followed by Scorched Brown and highlighted with Bestial Brown and Vomit Brown and Bubonic Brown. The hair is based with Leprous Brown and highlighted with Golden Yellow and Sunburst Yellow. The circlet is painted with Liche Purple and shaded with Liche Purple+Storm Blue and highlighted with Liche Purple+Skull White The dagger is done with Codex Grey, Ghostly Grey and Fortress Grey.

AHA! So you finally posted a pic! I like the Hair and the fleshtones. The Lion(?) part could be a few shades lighter, I think that would give it an overall cohesiveness. Nice job! Post more photos!

copy and paste this what finn17 said. I see that you used GW paint already try to change to valejo its not so grain and you have not water it down to much. But overall it is to see you are a expierenced painter with a knowledge of the techniques used.
